Thank You for Riding With Us

Dear Rad Community,

A few months ago, my dad turned 72. To celebrate the big day, he and I jumped on our ebikes for a long ride through Snoqualmie Pass, near Seattle.

A photo of Mike Radenbaugh's father posing with a RadRunner Plus on a rural road next to a tunnel.

Riding with him was an eye-opening experience. It reminded me of how far we’ve come as a company. In 2007, I was cobbling electric bikes in my parent’s garage. Flash forward 15 years, and we now have 350,000+ riders  — my dad included —  turning to ebikes to live their lives to the fullest.

I’m constantly inspired by the Rad Community’s passion, warmth, and creativity. Because of you we have introduced thousands of people to a new form of transportation that helps them cut back on countless miles of car trips. You’ve motivated us to take on new challenges, break barriers, and make ebikes better and more accessible for all.

What makes this experience even more rewarding is the sheer number of stories we hear from riders like you every day.

Whether you’re a surfer using a RadWagon to clear your head on a lunch break, a tattoo artist transporting your tools on a RadRunner, or a family using a RadCity for a safe, socially distant way to enjoy the outdoors together, your experiences are the heart of Rad Power Bikes.

That’s why we’re so excited to put the spotlight on our growing community as we ride together into 2022. Over the coming months, we’ll be sharing first-hand accounts from riders whose joy and uniqueness remind us that electric bikes really are for everyone.

And please don’t be shy. If you have a story of your own, we want to hear it, whether that’s on social media, through our Customer Service Team, in-person at one of our Rad Retail Stores, or just through a friendly chat with our Rad Mobile Service ambassadors from the comfort of your driveway.

Thanks for being our friends on the path and partners in the ebike revolution.

P.S. To kick things off, we'd like to share the story of Nicole, a Seattle-based photographer who uses her RadRunner Plus to capture the perfect shot.
